Dear Business Owner.

            The past year the Wisconsin Heights Soccer Club has helped roughly 300 youth from the Mazomanie and Black Earth area participate in recreational soccer programs from kindergarten through high school.  Interest in the program appears to be growing each year and we expect to equal or exceed that number for the 2006—2007 season.

            Thanks to the generosity of our team sponsors, the Soccer Club is able to keep the registration fee at an affordable amount so that all children are able to participate.  The Soccer Club hopes that you will consider sponsoring a team for the upcoming season.  We are asking for a $125 contribution from each sponsor for kindergarten through 6^th grade teams that play at Lion’s Park in Mazomanie on Saturday mornings. We expect to have at least 16 teams playing.

            The sponsorship fee is $250 for teams that play in the Madison Area Youth Soccer Association (MAYSA) leagues.  These are “traveling teams.”  The sponsorship fee is larger because the teams have additional expenses: a registration fee to MAYSA, payment of certified referees for each game, a coach’s honorarium and uniform costs. Players on these teams do several fund raising activities to help defray expenses. We expect to have five teams registered for the 2006-2007 season: a 6^th and 7^th grade girls team, a 6^th and 7^th grade boys team, a 7^th and 8^th grade boys team and a high school age girls team.

            In return for the sponsorship fee we print the sponsor’s name on the team’s jerseys. For your convenience, we are attaching a sheet for you to complete and return.  We hope that you will decide to support the youth soccer program with your sponsorship.  If you have questions, please contact the club president.
